Meet the People of Gingerich Farms
One of the most important
assets that Gingerich Farms has is its people. The partners
have years of experience in farming practices. The employees
have been with us for many years and are an essential part
of our operation.

Ed Gingerich
Farming Since: 1960
Ed and Edna are two of
the founding partners of Gingerich Farms. As a senior citizen,
he has slowed down a bit in his responsibilities but is
still very active in the farming operations by helping
plant in the spring and operating a combine in the fall.
Ed also keeps things looking nice by mowing and spraying the yards, spraying
for weeds on the gravel lots, sweeping the shop.His expertise of welding and metal work is often put to use in our
shop projects.
In the winter months, Ed & Edna migrate
to warmer temperatures with their motor coach.

Dannie Gingerich
Farming Since: 1980
Gingerich Farms/ President &
Operations Manager
Dannie and his wife Laura are partners
in Gingerich Farms. He has many responsibilities
in managing the daily events of the farming operation.
These include crop planning, financial planning,
personnel management, public relations, and grain marketing.
His two younger sons, Austin and Anthony, help on
the farm when not in school.

Darrel Gingerich
Farming Since:
1980
Gingerich Inc./ President & Operations Manager
Darrel and his wife, Janet,
are partners in Gingerich Farms. His daily activities involve dispatching and managing daily trucking
activities. In the fall, Darrel operates a
combine and makes sure daily maintenance of the harvest
equipment is done. Darrel's son, Seth, is often found on
the farm helping with various projects after school.

Aaron Gingerich
Farming Since: 2003
Aaron is the son of Dannie and
Laura. He is responsible for maintaining the AMS technologies
used on the farm. In the spring, he operates
a planter and in the summer, he can be found scouting fields,
mowing, and maintaining equipment. In the fall,
Aaron manages the tillage operations. During the winter
months, he helps Dannie in the office and helps deliver
grain to market.

Lindsey Gingerich
Farming Since: 2003
Lindsey is the daughter of Darrel and Janet.
She works part time as an office assistant.

Wilbur Gingerich
Farming Since: 1991
Wilbur is responsible for many operations on the farm.
He makes sure machinery is in field ready condition,
operates and manages a planting crew in the spring. Wilbur
also manages grain storage, conditioning, loading and unloading
at the grain storage facility and at the numerous bin
sites. Wilbur also maintains our buildings with his skills
as a carpenter.

Doug Wildman
Farming Since: 1995
Doug is service manager on our trucks and trailers.
In the spring he operates a field cultivator, in the summer
he helps mow and tend to the crops. In the fall he helps the harvest crew wherever needed. When he is not busy with these responsibilities he hauls grain.

Katrina Hughes
Farming Since: 1998 Katrina is the office manager and administrative assistant. Some of her
duties include answering the phone, managing payroll and
bookkeeping, and maintaining farm records and files. She
also is the scale master in the fall.

Elva Gingerich
Farming Since:1962
Retired in: 2001
Elva, and his wife Sovilla are two of the founding partners of Gingerich Farms. Elva retired from the farm in 2001.
