Central IL is still dry but the cooler temperatures this week helped bring relief to the crops. Corn and soybeans continue to grow well. This week we have finished our sidedress nitrogen applications to the corn and are nearly completed with the post emergence herbicide applications on corn and soybeans.
Ed Gingerich, one of the founding members of Gingerich Farms passed away this week. The memories of his love and passion for us is everywhere here and we honor his life with visitation Monday June 29 1pm-3pm 5pm-7pm. Funeral is June 30 at 10am. All services at Arthur Mennonite Church in Arthur IL.
