Planting Begins

This week we have been able to start planting soybeans here at Gingerich Farms. We did plant enough corn to make sure the planters are ready, but cold weather forecast for next week has kept us from planting much corn. Soybeans are not as yield sensitive to the emergence issues that cold weather brings so we will continue to focus on getting the soybeans planted.
