Planting Corn

This past week the soil temperatures got above a minimum of 50 degrees. This allowed us to start planting corn again. This weekend a series of thunderstorms came through and we received 1 to 4 plus inches of rain on our fields. This was a welcomed rain as this spring has been dry to this point. There is some ponding water in the heavy rainfall areas but most of the water will be soaked into the soil soon.
