Ed Gingerich, one of the founding members of Gingerich Farms passed away this week. The memories of his love and passion for us is everywhere here and we honor his life with visitation Monday June 29 1pm-3pm 5pm-7pm. Funeral is June 30 at 10am. All services at Arthur Mennonite Church in Arthur IL.

We were able to plant some more acres this last week before the rain. Currently we are 68% completed with soybean planting and 37% completed with corn planting

Soybean planting is happening at Gingerich Farms. Soil conditions are very good. Rain is forecast again for later in the week.

March weather has been variable to say the least in central IL. Record high temps above 90 then freezing with 48 hrs.

This week we received a very big blessing in central IL, it rained!! Nearly 4.5” of rain this week! This will be a great start to stopping the drought!

The frozen conditions allow us to haul grain from the grain bags and bin sites without mud which has been nice.

We are closed from Christmas Day through January 4th to allow our crew to spend time off with family and friends!

We have been blessed with some very good snowfall here in central IL this past weekend.
