One of the most important assets that Gingerich Farms has is its people. The partners have years of experience in farming practices. The employees have been with us for many years and are an essential part of our operation.
Dannie Gingerich

Dannie Gingerich

President
Farming Since: 1980

Dannie and his wife, Laura, are partners in Gingerich Farms. His daily duties involve landowner and public relations, financial planning, risk management, and grain marketing. Dannie is involved in various operations as needed depending on the season. Tile and water management are his specialties during the growing season. A graduate of the TEPAP (The Executive Program for Agricultural Producers) training course and many other educational courses throughout his years of farming.

Wilbur Gingerich

Wilbur Gingerich

Grain Storage & Conditioning / Facilities Maintenance Manager
Farming Since: 1991

Wilbur is responsible to manage grain storage, conditioning, loading and unloading at the grain storage facility and at the numerous bin sites of Gingerich Farms. His skills as a carpenter allow him to maintain our facilities and design any new projects. In the spring, Wilbur manages a planting crew and operates a planter.

Austin Gingerich

Crop Production & Operations Assistant Manager
Farming Since: 2012

Austin is part of the 3rd generation family to work at Gingerich Farms. He graduated from Lake Land College with an associate’s degree in Applied Science of Agricultural Production and Management. He is a crew foreman for many operations throughout the year, with a focus on sprayer operations during the growing season.

Seth Gingerich

Seth is part of the 3rd generation family to work at Gingerich Farms. His daily duties include mechanic work on trucks and farm machinery. He also operates machinery and helps to tend to the growing crops during the farming season. Seth also drives a semi-truck when needed.

Elva Gingerich

Retired: 2001

Elva and his wife Sovilla are two of the founding partners of Gingerich Farms. Elva retired from the farm in 2001.

Darrel Gingerich

Darrel Gingerich

President & Operations Manager
Farming Since: 1980

Darrel and his wife, Janet, are partners in Gingerich Farms. His daily activities involve dispatching and managing the activities of our trucking company, Gingerich Inc. Seasonally, you will find Darrel in multiple operations as needed on the farm. Frequently he is found in a truck transporting product to and from our fields. He is graduate of the TEPAP (The Executive Program for Agricultural Producers) training course. He is also involved in Peer Groups, to continue his education and build relationships within the industry.

Doug Wildman

Doug Wildman

Mechanic & Equipment Operator
Farming Since: 1995

Doug is service manager on our trucks and trailers. In the spring, he helps prepare the fields for planting. In the summertime, he is busy tending to the crops and keeping our roadsides mowed. Doug helps the harvest crew wherever needed. Additionally, he can be counted on to drive a truck when needed.

Tyler Kresin

Tyler Kresin

Equipment Manager / Crop Production Assistant
Farming Since: 2015

Tyler is responsible for purchasing, maintaining, and the setup of equipment used at Gingerich Farms. He is a graduate of John Deere Tech and was previously a mechanic for a local John Deere dealership. Tyler comes from a local farming family, which enables him to be a very dependable equipment operator. He also assists in scouting and other agronomic functions involved in growing a crop.

Ethan Gingerich

Ethan came to work at Gingerich Farms after graduating from Lake Land College as a Certified Welder. His skills are valuable in his daily duties as a mechanic working on farm equipment and operating machinery. Ethan helps tend to the growing crops during the farming season.

Aaron and his wife, Charity, are 3rd generation partners in Gingerich Farms. His daily activities involve decisions regarding the products, activities, methods or technologies used in the production of crops at Gingerich Farms. Aaron is also responsible for human resources, employee development, and training needed to do the daily activities at Gingerich Farms. He has completed TEPAP (The Executive Program for Agricultural Producers) training course. As a part of ongoing education, Aaron attends various workshops and Peer Groups. Over the past several years, he has led discussions related to agronomy at various events.

Katrina Hughes

Katrina oversees the daily activities of our office staff. A few of her duties include managing payroll, bookkeeping, and health insurance. She oversees the accuracy of our farm records and files. Katrina also works closely with our landlords in various ways.

Jadan Miller

Jadan’s experience in many different types of work allows him to use his skill set in many ways at Gingerich Farms. His duties involve mechanic work on farm machinery, design and welding of custom projects, operating machinery and tending to crops during the farming season. Jadan has his CDL and when needed he drives a semi-truck.

Ed and Edna are two of the founding partners of Gingerich Farms. Ed retired from the farm in 2011. He still enjoys being around the farm and helping with activities in the summertime. In the winter months, Ed and Edna enjoy the warmer climate of Sarasota, FL.
