We began harvest the second week of September. We have been going steady since then with a few rain events as well as a few breakdowns. Fertilizer spreading began this past week (4th week of Sept) as well as the tillage rigs.
November 4, 2026 Farm update
We have been able to finish harvest here at Gingerich Farms. Very little rain during harvest made for a fast paced season. Now we focus on finishing up fertilizer application, tillage, and begin to clean up the equipment and facilities before winter comes to IL.
