Farm Progress Show

This past week we visited the Farm Progress Show in Decatur IL. This is always an exciting time to reconnect with companies we do business with and see the next things being introduced to progress agriculture forward. This year a lot of new technologies were being displayed as the use of AI and robots is finding their place on the farms.

We also hosted several groups of farmers here at the farm as they passed by to or from the show. It is always good to compare notes of farming with new or old friends during these visits.

Harvest is drawing near. We expect to start within the next 10-12 days. The heat will make a difference on how fast this crop matures but the warm Labor Day weekend made a big difference.
