Harvest is in full swing at Gingerich Farms. The corn is continuing to stay wet so picking has been slow to allow time to dry the corn at our grain storage facilities.
Soybeans are ripening fast and keeping us busy.
Overall more rain is needed as the ground is very dry. The dry, hard conditions has made tillage tough.
Ed Gingerich, one of the founding members of Gingerich Farms passed away this week. The memories of his love and passion for us is everywhere here and we honor his life with visitation Monday June 29 1pm-3pm 5pm-7pm. Funeral is June 30 at 10am. All services at Arthur Mennonite Church in Arthur IL.
