Gingerich Farms will be closed December 25-January 1st to allow time off for our company to celebrate Christmas and New Years.

The weather has been very variable this month with some very cold days causing the ground to freeze too deep to continue tile installation. Then other days have been very warm and feels like spring maybe near. Welcome to Illinois in December!! We have had several good rains to continue to add moisture to the soil.

Fall tillage is done so the crews are now focused on tiling, grain hauling, and shop work as they wash, and repair this falls equipment before beginning to work on spring planting equipment after the first of the year.

Christmas and New Year is always a great time for us to slow down and enjoy a few days with family and friends. We hope your Holiday season is filled with the Joy and Peace that God’s gift of Jesus and salvation can provide.
