This week the focus has been on applying the next round of nitrogen the corn will need later in the season. Small rains have kept the soil moisture in great shape.

This week we were able to plant corn and soybeans. Several rain events have forced us to move to drier areas to continue to go. Thankful for the rain as it has kept the soil moisture for planting at ideal.

We have been able to start planting soybeans here at Gingerich Farms. Currently we are waiting for a warmer nearby forecast to start the corn planters.
