Beautiful fall weather this week. Plans are to begin harvest, Monday, Sept. 21.
7/2/20
Happy 4th of July! The office will be closed Friday, July 3, in observance of the 4th of July. Crops are progressing and temperatures are very hot.
6/26/20
Summer has arrived. Most of the fields received scattered showers this week.
6/19/20
Sidedressing completed Cleaning Spring equipment begins
6/12/20
Planting is complete. Spraying and sidedress continue.
6/5/20
Week started with 3 days of: Spraying, Sidedressing & Planting Completed: Corn - 100% Beans - 73% Then came the rain on Wednesday night. At the Grain Center 2 inches of rain fell.
5/29/20
Rain kept us from planting this week but were able to start sidedressing and replanting.
5/22/20
Our office will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day. A week of no planting due to rain.

June 23, 2026 Farm update
Ed Gingerich, one of the founding members of Gingerich Farms passed away this week. The memories of his love and passion for us is everywhere here and we honor his life with visitation Monday June 29 1pm-3pm 5pm-7pm. Funeral is June 30 at 10am. All services at Arthur Mennonite Church in Arthur IL.
